Watching a Primetime Nightline episode aboout, “My kid is transgender.” The ad mentioned in the video opened the episode. All I have to say: Bless the parents that allow their kids to do what makes them happy AND defend them. I understand many people think that the published photo is morally wrong, but I do not think that the action itself will predict the kind of person and/or sexual orientation someone will be. Support your children, love them for who they are, and listen to them. Don’t hide. Help them build their strength and tolerance toward human kind. Social transitions are hard enough at any age - whether you’re two years old or 42 years old.

Well-worth read (it’s a tear jerker - so grab the tissues): Facing death, CNN sports legend embraces life. You must face your fears in life to realize what you have and just how to embrace your blessings.
